MAKTKAMP is a hard rock band that plays energetic and melodical hardcore, hard rock and punk. After the release of their debut EP in February 2020, the band wrote their first album during the pandemic, and claimed their place within the Norwegian underground music scene with the release of "I Affekt" in January 2022. The hard working quintet released their second album, "Caps Lock Woke Rock", on April 21st, 2023, which they toured extensively in Norway in the fall of 2023.
The band is known for its eyecatching, high energy live concerts, where they have made a habit of fusing with the audience from the get go, confirmed by the 6/6 review written about their concert at Bastard Bard in Tromsø (Nordlys, 02.09.2023). In their short history, MAKTKAMP has played at venues across the full length of Norway, and was chosen to play at Klubb Øya and Klubb Pstereo in 2022.
